Seminars, Workshops, Courses for trade shows

FLAAR Reports are written as chapters in a book, or as Learning Units in a course.

If you wish to have Dr Nicholas Hellmuth give a lecture, seminar, workshop, or entire course, please contact us at ReaderService@FLAAR.org.

Dr Hellmuth can lecture in Deutsch, español, or English, can understand basic Italian, Portuguese and some French, and is willing to learn another language.

Also, English is the international language of digital imaging, so it is helpful for students in each country to also experience digital imaging in English. Plus simultaneous translation can be used until
Dr Hellmuth can learn your local language.

Courses are available on
  - scanning and scanners
  - giclee and decor
  - fine art photography
  - wide-format inkjet printing and printers
  - solvent, eco-solvent, mild-solvent, lite-solvent printing and printers
  - UV-cured inkjet printing, printheads, inks, substrates, printers, applications and markets

FLAAR comes with a dowry of a Cruse scanner/digital camera (80 megapixels, $86,000 worth) and considerable other digital imaging equipment.

This shows our publications and a few of our courses from 2000 through 2008. So some of these reports are new and recent today, others were new and recent seven years ago.

But it's educational to see how much labor our staff has devoted to providing the general public with information and documentation, especially on digital imaging technology that can assist museums and research projects working in Latin America and on Latin American topics.
